How much do you trust classical medicine? Think about it, if all medication that you are getting prescribed by your doctors would really work and cure you completely without any side effects, the majority of doctors would be jobless very soon. I am not saying that you must never go to see a doctor for one or the other reasons but you must be aware of what you are taking and how it can affect your organism in a long run. For instance, antibiotics are useless for any viral diseases, nevertheless, many modern doctors are very quick to prescribe them even for colds or flu, which your body is capable to fight on its own. Antibiotics destroy your intestinal flora, which plays a significant role in your immune system. So, it creates a vicious circle: you take antibiotics to get better, they destroy your immune system, you get sick more and more often and you take more and more antibiotics. Eventually, they affect your digestive system, liver and kidneys, which leads to other major health problems.
It is obvious, that some infections can only be cured with antibiotics, and must be taken as prescribed by your doctor. However, try to avoid taking antibiotics wherever it is possible. Remember, it is easier to prevent an illness than cure it.
Stay healthy!
